CSA Memberships
Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a great way to connect the community to their local farmers. It allows members to feel good about knowing exactly where their food comes from and who is growing it by directly supporting the farmers who grow it.
Shares are purchased in advance to help support the up-front farming costs such as seeds, compost, tools, etc. in return for a weekly box throughout the season full of fresh produce once the farmer begins harvesting.
Check out the sections below for descriptions of the shares we offer, what’s new in 2024, answers to your questions, and links to sign up.
New in 2024!
Farm Experience Days
We will be offering our CSA members regular opportunities to visit the farm - whether you want to roll up your sleeves and help with some farm chores, relax on the porch with a book or bring a blanket & enjoy a picnic on the lawn, we want you to enjoy being outside on our farm as much as we do. Kids will also get the opportunity to help in the new kid’s garden area with weeding and harvesting. There will be a farm stand on site at these times to purchase additional produce that was devoured from your normal weekly box too quickly.
Bi-Weekly Shares
For those who want to try out what a CSA can offer without such a large commitment, bi-weekly shares are now offered! You can get a small box with the same delicious produce every other week.
Canned Goods Add-on
In addition to the weekly produce boxes, you can sign up to receive one box of canned produce. This will include one quart tomato sauce, one pint red salsa, one pint salsa verde, and one half-pint of pizza sauce (makes 2 large pizzas). These are as fresh as you can get, since we process them within 24 hours of harvesting the produce! These boxes will be provided in September.
